Dr. Kristi Walsh has been in full time private practice for 30 years. Licensed as a MFT, she received her Ph.D. in Psychoanalysis from Newport Psychoanalytic Institute where she remains a Training and Supervising Analyst. Kristi works from a contemporary psychoanalytic and psychodynamic perspective, drawing from object relations theory, developmental and relational approaches, and of course, life experience.
Dr. James Mannes has also been in private practice for 30 years. First licensed as a MFT, Jim went on to obtain a doctorate in Psychoanalysis from the Psychoanalytic Center for California. He is currently a Traning and Supervising Analyst at Newport Psychoanalytic Institute. From within the broad spectrum that now defines psychoanalysis, Jim seeks to create a therapeutic experience which is both personal and deeply emotional as the basis for growth and change.
